The height adjustment of these patient transport tables and recovery tables is controlled by an easy-to-use hand switch with two buttons (up and down). The side guards, which can be adjusted using a pivot mechanism, serve as fall protection and allow patients to get on and off from both sides of the table. This ensures safe patient transport.

The large double swivel castors make it easier to drive over indoor obstacles such as door thresholds or power cables. All four castors are connected to each other by rods and can therefore be released or locked in place with just one step.All four castors are connected to each other by rods and can therefore be released for movement or secured in place with just one step.  To ensure easy access to the central adjustment, there is a foot pedal at the head and foot end of the patient transport and recovery tables The positioning is clearly visible using the coloured markings (green = table ready for moving, red = table locked in place).

Height-adjustable patient transport tables enable:

  • Ergonomic handling when repositioning patients, for example with couches and tables of different heights.
  • Patients to easily get on and off as the tables can be lowered to wheelchair seat height.
  • Ease of operation as well as pushing and steering.

The patient transport tables with electric height adjustment and side guards are available in four configurations with lacquered and chrome-plated frames, as well as upholstery widths of 650 mm and 800 mm.

Features

    • They are available in two widths:
      • Width 650 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 1065/E 930 and H-AWL 2065/E 930,
      • Width 800 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 1080/E 930 and H-AWL 2080/E 930.
    • For safer patient transport, these recovery tables are supplied with two side guards, dimensions approx. 760 x 250 mm (L x H). They can be lowered to upholstery height using a pivot mechanism and secured using spring-loaded handwheels with fixing bolts.
      Please take into account the complete table widths including the side guards:
      • 795 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 1065/E 930 und H-AWL 2065/E 930,
      • 975 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 1080/E 930 und H-AWL 2080/E 930.
    • The stability and robustness is achieved by the gusset plates in the frame corners.
    • The wide base frame ensures a high stability.
    • The upholstery frames of the patient transport tables are made of blank steel:
      • Lacquered, Article No.: H-AWL 1065/E 930 and H-AWL 1080/E 930,
      • Chrome-plated, Article No.: H-AWL 2065/E 930 and H-AWL 2080/E 930. 
    • The upholstery thickness for both tabletop sections (headrest and main surface) is 64 mm.
    • The height adjustment (500 - 930 mm) is done by an electric motor, which is controlled via a hand switch (alternatively, at no extra charge, via a foot switch). The adjustment system is equipped with a key lock. Drive specifications: 230V, 50/60 Hz., 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
    • The headrest is continuously adjustable up to +40° and secured with clamping rod locking mechanism.
    • The patient transport tables are equipped with double castors, Ø 125 mm, with a central locking system. The four swivel castors are connected to each other by rods, with foot pedals to lock in position or release located at the head and foot ends of the table.

    In the above tables, the term 'frame' only defines the nature of the upholstery/tabletop frame and the side guards. The height adjustment mechanism and the base frame are only available in a lacquered version.

    The standard configuration includes:
    • Mobility in the form of a central locking system, double swivel castors Ø 125 mm, all four castors offer excellent rolling properties and are connected to each other by rods, foot pedals are arranged diagonally at the head and foot end, easy to operate and with coloured markings (green = table ready for moving, red = table locked in place).
    • Two side guards, dimensions 800 x 250 mm (L x H). So that these patient transport tables can be used from both sides, the side guards can be adjusted, pointing upwards or downwards, with a simple pivot mechanism and fixed with spring-loaded handwheels.

    We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):

    • light grey (RAL 7035)
    • white aluminum (RAL 9006)
    • pure white (RAL 9010).

    The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.

    Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return. 

    The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.

    We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.

    In addition, we offer you the service of manufacturing the upholstery in other colours or from other synthetic leather manufacturers (type variant). After prior agreement, please send us the relevant references.

    The black electrically conductive synthetic leather cover (with equipotential bonding socket on the frame) is available at an additional cost. It is already included in the price of the operating tables and multifunction tables.

    SL-AWLShock position/Trendelenburg adjustment, approx. 11°, the upholstery frame at the foot end is equipped with a gas pressure spring, release button embedded in the upholstery frame. Retrofitting is not possible.

    The accessory components mentioned above are just a small excerpt. The following accessories are also available: surgical standard rails in various lengths, push handles, all-around edge/impact protection, wall deflector rings in the four corners of the table, patient belts, positioning aids, face cutout in the upholstered headrest and padded insert for closing.
