MRI Tables with hydraulic height adjustment and side guards
The hydraulic height-adjustable MRI patient transport tables from AGA Sanitätsartikel for safer patient transport.
MRI Patient transport tables up to 7 Tesla - with hydraulic height adjustment and side guards for flexibility of use
These hydraulic height-adjustable tables with side guards were also developed specifically for use in magnetic resonance (MRI or MR). The frames are made of slightly magnetic stainless steel or aluminium and brass components. The low level of residual magnetism does not affect the imaging process, nor are the MRI patient transport tables attracted by the magnetic field of the MR system. They can be used safely for MR systems up to 7 Tesla.
The two side guards included in the scope of delivery ensure safer patient transport and fall protection.
Due to the mobility of the hydraulic height-adjustable MRI patient transport tables and the associated flexibility of use, the hydraulics, which are independent of the power supply (compared to an electric motor) and can therefore be operated anywhere and at any time, are operated via a foot pump. The advantage of these hydraulic height-adjustable MRI patient transport tables is that they are suitable for MR systems with different patient table heights and make it easier for patients to get on and off.
The hydraulic height-adjustable MRI patient transport tables can be used safely under the following conditions:
- Static magnetic field of a maximum of 7 Tesla or less,
- With an additional spatial gradient of a maximum of 10 T/m or less,
- The table must not exceed the limit line of 10 T/m with the head end/foot end in the direction of movement towards the magnet.
Features
- The hydraulic height-adjustable MRI patient transport tables are equipped with swivel castors, Ø 100 mm. All four can be totally locked in turning and running directions.
- They are available in two widths:
- Width 650 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 3065/Y 980VA,
- Width 800 mm, Article No.: H-AWL 3080/Y 980VA.
- Two side guards are supplied with these MRI tables for safer patient transport.
- The side guards, dimensions approx. 800 x 250 mm (L x H), can be lowered to the upholstery height using a pivot mechanism and secured using spring-loaded handwheels with fixing bolts.
- Please take into account the complete table widths including the side guards:
- The MRI table, Article No.: H-AWL 3065/Y 980VA, is 795 mm wide,
- The MRI table, Article No.: H-AWL 3080/Y 980VA, is 975 mm wide.
- The tubular steel frame of the hydraulic height-adjustable MRI tables is made of stainless steel, with a low residual magnetism.
- The hydraulic height adjustment is operated using a foot pump. The foot pump can be mounted on both sides (please specify the desired side when placing your order). A second foot pump is also available for an additional charge (Article No.: FPH-30).
- The height-adjustable MRI tables can be used with a static magnetic field of a maximum of 7 Tesla or less.
- The thickness of the two upholstered segments (headrest and main surface) is 64 mm.
- The headrest can be adjusted continuously up to +40°. It is locked in place with a clamping handle using a clamping rod mechanism.

The standard configuration includes:
- A set of castor, consisting of four swivel castors, Ø 100 mm. All four castors are lockable.
- Two side guards, dimensions 800 x 250 mm (L x H). So that these MRI patient transport tables can also be used from both sides, the side guards can be adjusted to point up or down with a simple pivot mechanism and fixed with spring-loaded handwheels.
The synthetic leathers we use are characterised by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.
We use a (colour) selection of synthetic leather covers from VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). You can find the colour selection card here.
Synthetic leather covers (e.g. Skai and Stamskin Top) from other manufacturers can also be used. Please let us know the desired manufacturer, the collection and the exact colour number. We will tell you the corresponding additional costs. Would you like to procure the cover yourself and make it available to us? No problem. We will let you know the required quantity in advance. Please bear in mind that products with third-party covers are type variants and therefore cannot be returned.
