No practice, no clinic and no medical facility can do without suitable seating furniture such as swivel stools for examinations or therapies.

Swivel stools, comfortable and practical

Doctors' practices, hospitals and medical facilities cannot do without swivel stools. Swivel stools are also called rolling stools, practice stools, sitting stools, cosmetic stools and work stools.

With the help of the swivel stool, treatments and examinations can be carried out comfortably while sitting. Swivel stools do not restrict freedom of movement thanks to their castors.

The swivel stools from AGA Sanitätsartikel feature a seat cushion with piping, covered with synthetic leather upholstery.

Depending on the model, the seat height adjustment is activated directly under the seat cushion by a hand lever or a ring release, or by a foot release located under the base. The chrome-plated gas pressure spring connects the seat with the five-arm aluminium base, which is available in polished and black versions. Five soft braked double castors are inserted into the aluminium base. The swivel stools have a load capacity of up to 140 kg.

Features

  • The aluminium base offers a high level of stability and has a Ø of 610 mm.
  • With article numbers ending in -1000, the base is in a black version, and in -2000, the base is in a polished version.
  • The braked double castors, Ø 50 mm, are available in hard version (for soft floors) and soft version (for hard floors).
  • Unless specified otherwise when placing the order, the swivel stool will be delivered with hard castors.
  • The seat cushion (Ø 380 mm, cushion thickness 75 mm) is provided with piping and covered in synthetic leather.
  • The continuous height adjustment is activated using a hand lever. For article numbers with /RA, there is a circular and easy-to-reach hand ring under the seat cushion (instead of the hand lever).
  • The gas pressure springs are available in two lengths for the following height adjustment ranges:
    • 430 – 550 mm,
    • 520 – 700 mm (article numbers end with /LG).
  • The swivel stools (starting with DH- in the article number) have a load capacity of up to 140 kg.

The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.

We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.

In addition, we can also use imitation leather upholstery covers from other manufacturers (e.g. Skai and Stamskin Top). Please let us know the desired manufacturer, the collection and the exact colour number. We will let you know the corresponding additional costs. 

Please note that products with electrically conductive and third-party covers are type variants and therefore without a right of return.

Height-adjustable foot ring, attached to the gas pressure spring, serves as a footrest, foot ring Ø 455 mm. The outer ring is chrome-plated steel.
SGLSet of gliders (adjustable feet), instead of braked double castors, reducing the chair height by approx. 30 mm.
