Swivel chairs

The swivel chairs, like the swivel stools, are indispensable aids in every practice and medical-therapeutic facility. The height adjustment and the individually adjustable backrest offer a more relaxed sitting position.

Swivel chairs for relaxed and comfortable seating

No doctor's office, clinic or therapy facilities can do without swivel chairs. With the help of swivel chairs, examinations and therapeutic measures can be carried out comfortably while sitting. Thanks to the castors, the swivel chairs allow a flexibility and freedom of movement.

The swivel chairs from AGA Sanitätsartikel feature a seat cushion with piping, covered with synthetic leather upholstery. The height-adjustable, tiltable and padded backrest provides a comfortable and safe seating position.

Depending on the model, the seat height adjustment is activated by a hand lever located directly under the seat cushion (right handside) or by a foot release located under the base. The chrome-plated gas pressure spring connects the seat with the five-arm aluminium base, which is available in polished and black versions. Five soft braked double castors are inserted into the aluminium base. The swivel chairs have a load capacity of up to 140 kg.

Features

  • The aluminium base offers a high level of stability and has a Ø of 610 mm.
  • With article numbers ending in -1000, the base comes in a black version, and in -2000, the base in a polished version.
  • The braked double castors, Ø 50 mm, are available as hard castors (for soft floors) and soft castors (for hard floors).
  • Unless specified otherwise when placing the order, the swivel stool will be delivered with hard castors.
  • The seat cushion (Ø 380 mm, thickness 75 mm) is provided with piping and covered in synthetic leather.  It has a 3° incline towards the backrest.
  • The backrest, upholstered with synthetic leather (cotton/polyester blend, coating made of 100% PVC compound, biocompatible), can be individually adjusted in height and tilt.
  • The continuous height adjustment is activated using a hand lever under the seat cushion. Due to the mounted support plate, the hand lever is always on the right handside.
  • The gas pressure springs are available in two lengths for the following height adjustment ranges:
    • 460 – 580 mm,
    • 550 – 730 mm (article numbers ending with /LG).
  • The swivel chairs (the article number begins with DS-) have a load capacity of up to 140 kg.

The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.

We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.

In addition, we can also use imitation leather upholstery covers from other manufacturers (e.g. Skai and Stamskin Top). Please let us know the desired manufacturer, the collection and the exact colour number. We will let you know the corresponding additional costs. 

Please note that products with electrically conductive and third-party covers are type variants and therefore without a right of return.
