Sonography tables

Sonography is the use of ultrasound waves in medicine as an imaging method for examining organic tissue. A specially tailored sonography table that allows appropriate patient positioning naturally increases the quality of the images.

Sonography tables

A significant advantage of sonography over X-rays is the harmlessness of the sound waves used. Even sensitive tissue, for example in unborn babies, is not damaged. During the ultrasound examination, organs such as the liver and gallbladder, pancreas and spleen are examined. The kidneys can be easily irradiated and viewed from the side. The stomach and intestines can also be clearly examined using ultrasound.

The sonography tables from AGA Sanitätsartikel are available with a two-part or three-part tabletop and with a fixed height. The adjustable roof position, for example, relieves the strain on the spine. With the help of ultrasound, nerves and the structure of the spine can also be clearly visualized. Sonographically guided injections into the vertebral joints or nerve roots can reduce pain and thus enable further forms of treatment such as physiotherapy.

The head position adjustment on the three-section sonography table enables better sonography of the thyroid.

The sonography tables are available in two versions:

  • 3-piece tabletop, Article No.: SO-ZK 1065/EE, whereby the three upholstery segments, which can be adjusted electrically (leg and back sections) and manually (head section), allow a horizontal upholstery position as well as the Trendelenburg/anti-Tredelenburg positions, roof position and head down position.
  • 2-piece tabletop, Article No.: SO-1065, whereby the two halves of the table, which can be adjusted using gas pressure springs, allow a horizontal position  of the upholstered surface as well as the Trendelenburg/Anti-Tredelenburg positions and the roof position.

Features

  • Since the upholstery parts can be controlled separately, a horizontal upholstery position can be adjusted from the roof position using the Trendelenburg or anti-Trendelenburg positions.
  • The wide extension of the base frame ensures high stability. The four adjustable feet are equipped with floor protectors (impact caps).
  • The thickness of the padding segments is 64 mm each.
  • The sonography tables have a height of 700 mm (when the cushions are in a horizontal position).

SO-ZK 1065/EE

  • The tabletop segments, head/back and leg sections, are each continuously adjusted positively and negatively (+20°/-17°) by an electric motor. The controls are carried out using a foot switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - using a hand switch). Of course, these adjustments can also be made with heavier patients (up to 200 kg). The adjustment systems are equipped with key locks. Connection values per motor: 230V, 50/60 Hz., 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
  • The headrest can be adjusted continuously +40°/-30°. It is locked using a clamping handle and clamping rod mechanism.

SO-1065

  • The two halves of the table are continuously adjusted using gas pressure springs (+15°/-17°) and locked with handwheels. The required examination positions must be set beforehand, i.e. without the patient.

The standard configuration includes:
  • Floor protectors (clip-on caps) on the four adjustable feet.

We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):

  • light grey (RAL 7035)
  • white aluminum (RAL 9006)
  • pure white (RAL 9010).

The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.

Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return.

The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.

We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.

In addition, we offer you the service of manufacturing the upholstery in other colours or from other synthetic leather manufacturers (type variant). After prior agreement, please send us the relevant references.

The black electrically conductive synthetic leather cover (with equipotential bonding socket on the frame) is available at an additional cost. It is already included in the price of the operating tables and multifunction tables.
