AGA-GYN-MAT and AGA-GYN-LIFT Examination chairs for gynaecology
The AGA-GYN-MAT and AGA-GYN-LIFT are user-friendly and extremely robust gynaecology chairs that stand out by their functionality and offer an optimal working height for every user thanks to their adjustment options.
AGA-GYN-MAT and AGA-GYN-LIFT gynaecology examination chairs with electric adjustments
The examination chairs AGA-GYN-MAT, Article No.: GL-1060/EEE, and AGA-GYN-LIFT, Article No.: GL-1060/EE, from AGA Sanitätsartikel have been specially developed for gynaecology. They are each equipped with an electric motor for height adjustment and seat section adjustment. Due to the low seat height (650 mm), it was possible to dispense with a fold-away footrest. The working height can be continuously adjusted up to 1,160 mm (measured at the front edge of the seat) when both motorized adjustment ranges are fully utilized.
The ergonomic upholstery of the backrest and seat ensures a very high level of comfort. The integration of a foam wedge in the back section eliminates the need for an additional bolster. A cutout is incorporated in the seat section.
Features
- The examination chairs are equipped with electric height adjustment (650 - 850 mm). Thanks to the precision double square guides, the height adjustment takes place without lateral offset.
- A Trendelenburg position of 30° can be achieved with the help of the electric seat elevation and the adjustable backrest.
- The back section can be adjusted up to + 54° on the:
- AGA-GYN-MAT, Article No.: GL-1060/EEE, using an electric motor,
- AGA-GYN-LIFT, Article No.: GL-1060/EE, by gas pressure spring.
- The maintenance-free and extremely quiet electric drives used are controlled by foot switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - by hand switch). The adjustment systems are equipped with push-button locks. Motor connection values (each): 230V, 50/60 Hz, 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
- The floor frame, which is fitted with levelling feet, ensures a secure stand.
- The impact- and scratch-resistant covers of the column and base frame, like all other components, are easy to clean and keep hygienically clean.
- The different upholstery thicknesses of the seat (85 mm) and backrest (85 - 135 mm) provide a very high level of seating comfort. This is achieved through the use of different, coordinated foam densities.
- There is a cutout in the seat cushion.
- A pair of standard rails, made of stainless steel, dimensions 25 x 10 mm, length 350 mm, are attached to the side of the seat section to accommodate leg support systems.
- The holder of the stainless steel tray included in the scope of delivery, dimensions 300 x 200 x 65 mm (L x W x H), is fixed to the upper cover. To the right and left of it are three Allen screws for attaching a colposcope holder.
- An earthed socket is integrated into the back of the column, for example for connecting a colposcope.

The standard version includes:
- A pair of standard rails attached to the side of the seat.
- Supports (right / left side) for a colposcope holder.
- An earthed socket on the back of the column.
- A cutout in the seat cushion.
- A stainless steel tray with holder.
- A paper roll holder screwed to the back section.
- A floor frame with levelling feet.
- The foot switch.
We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):
- light grey (RAL 7035)
- white aluminum (RAL 9006)
- pure white (RAL 9010).
The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.
Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return.
The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.
We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.
In addition, we offer you the service of manufacturing the upholstery in other colours or from other synthetic leather manufacturers (type variant). After prior agreement, please send us the relevant references.
The black electrically conductive synthetic leather cover (with equipotential bonding socket on the frame) is available at an additional cost. It is already included in the price of the operating tables and multifunction tables.
