Examination stools
No practice, clinic or medical facility can do without suitable seating for examinations or therapies.
Examination stools with saddle seat and as a square stool
Examination stools have the advantage over swivel stools in that they have a black, PU-foam, ergonomically shaped, adjustable saddle seat instead of the 'standard' seat cushion. This optimizes the sitting posture due to the individual adjustment of the pelvic inclination and the associated automatic straightening of the upper body (spine) thus minimizing back tension. The chrome-plated gas pressure spring connects the saddle seat to the five-armed aluminium base, which is available in polished and black versions. Five braked double castors are inserted into the aluminium base. The examination stool with saddle seat has a load capacity of up to 140 kg.
The robust and durable square stools are available in three frame finishes (lacquered, chrome-plated and stainless steel). The synthetic leather upholstery guarantees a comfortable fit.
Both types of examination stools do not restrict freedom of movement and can be easily stowed away when not in use.

Examination stool with saddle seat
- The aluminium base offers a high level of stability and has a diameter of 610 mm.
- With article numbers ending in -1000, the base is in a black version, and in -2000, the base is in a polished version.
- The braked double castors, Ø 50 mm, are available as hard castors (for soft floors) and soft castors (for hard floors).
- Unless specified otherwise when placing the order, the examination stool will be delivered with hard castors.
- The saddle seat has a tilt adjustment.
- The continuous height adjustment is activated using a hand lever, always located on the right handside. The gas pressure springs are available for the following height adjustment ranges:
- 460 – 580 mm,
- 550 – 730 mm (article numbers ending with /LG).
Square stools
- The frames are made of square steel tube profiles 25 x 25 x 2 mm and 20 x 20 x 2 mm and are:
- Lacquered, Article No.: V-1000,
- Chrome-plated, Article No.: V-2000,
- Stainless steel, Article No.: V-3000.
- The seat, dimensions 400 x 400 mm, has an upholstery thickness of 64 mm. The seat height is 500 mm.
- The stool legs are provided with floor protectors (impact caps).

The standard configuration includes:
- Stool legs with floor protectors (impact caps).
We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):
- light grey (RAL 7035)
- white aluminum (RAL 9006)
- pure white (RAL 9010).
The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.
Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return.
The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.
We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.
In addition, we can also use imitation leather upholstery covers from other manufacturers (e.g. Skai and Stamskin Top). Please let us know the desired manufacturer, the collection and the exact colour number. We will let you know the corresponding additional costs.
Please note that products with electrically conductive and third-party covers are type variants and therefore without a right of return.
